Franz Grabowski

Franz Grabowski (born December 25, 1897 in Katowice , Province of Silesia , † December 17, 1981 in Wetzlar ) was a German manager.

Career

Grabowski was born the son of an iron lathe operator . After graduating from school in 1912, he started working for Ferrum AG, a subsidiary of the Oberschlesischen Hüttenwerke . In 1931 he moved to the board of directors of the company, which he belonged to until he was expelled in 1945.

He came to Wetzlar and took over the commercial management of Buderus'schen Eisenwerke . From 1953 to 1967 he was the company's general manager and chairman of the board.
