Franz Hechenblaickner

Franz Hechenblaickner (born August 15, 1896 in Vienna , † July 19, 1987 in Hirtenberg ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and electrical engineer. Hechenblaickner was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1956 to 1964 .

Hechenblaickner attended elementary, community and technical school and worked professionally as an electrical engineer. He did military service between 1917 and 1919 during the First World War, where he was taken prisoner in Italy. Hechenblaickner was a trade union and party member from 1919 and in 1950 became the executive councilor in Hirtenberg. From 1952 he worked as secretary of the ÖGB in the Baden district and was vice mayor between 1962 and 1970. Hechenblaickner represented the SPÖ between April 19, 1956 and November 19, 1964 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
