Franz Hundeshagen

Franz Hundeshagen (born July 23, 1857 in Apolda , † November 30, 1940 in Stuttgart ) was a German chemist .

In 1883 he received his doctorate as Dr. phil. with the work on the synthesis of lecithin . From 1883 to 1885 he was assistant to Carl Ludwig at the Physiological Institute of the University of Leipzig . He later ran the Institute for Applied Chemistry and Microscopy in Stuttgart with FW Sieber. He was in 1927 by the Technical University of Stuttgart , the title "Dr.-Ing. hc ”.
