Franz Josef Konrad

Franz Josef Konrad (born February 2, 1897 in Seeshaupt , † August 24, 1962 ) was a German local politician ( CSU ).

Life

Franz Josef Konrad trained as a meteorologist . In 1941 he married Josephine, who was 13 years his junior.

Konrad was appointed mayor of his hometown Seeshaupt on May 9, 1945 by the American military government. In this position he remained until June 30, 1948. He was then district administrator of the district Weilheim in Upper Bavaria . Confirmed in office in 1958, Konrad died on August 24, 1962 after a year and a half illness.

The Bürgermeister-Konrad-Weg was named after him in Seeshaupt ( location ).
