List of finance ministers in Baden
List of finance ministers in Baden
On April 30, 1804, the then Elector Karl Friedrich set up his own finance college . The duties of the finance college were determined by the sovereign ordinance of November 21, 1804.
Since March 20, 1807 there was a finance department .
With the sovereign ordinance of July 5, 1808, the previous collegial form of the departments was abolished and ministerial responsibility was introduced. The department of finance became one of the five ministerial departments. The business area of the ministerial department was also specified in this regulation.
A Ministry of Finance was created for the first time in the Grand Duchy through the organizational rescript of November 26, 1809. The duties of the ministry are described in detail in Appendix F to the organizational rescript.
