Franz Koller (politician)

Franz Koller (born May 6, 1947 in Edlitz ) is an Austrian farmer and politician ( FPÖ ). From 1996 to 1999, Koller was a member of the Austrian National Council and then a member of the Federal Council until 2000 .

Franz Koller attended elementary school from 1953 to 1961 and the agricultural college from 1964 to 1996. Koller did military service from 1967 to 1968 and worked in his parents' company from 1966 to 1975. Koller has been a self-employed farmer since 1975. He is an agricultural master and fruit grower and was awarded the professional title of Economics Council in 2003.

Koller was in 1980 a member of the municipal council of Grafendorf bei Hartberg and in 1982 to the district party chairman of the Freedom Party Hartberg selected. Between 1991 and 1996 he was also a member of the Chamber of Commerce for Agriculture and Forestry in Styria. Koller represented the FPÖ from January 15, 1996 to October 28, 1999 in the National Council and was a member of the Federal Council from November 16, 1999 to November 6, 2000.
