Company history

In 1954 the company Franz Lebert KG Kempten was founded. National scheduled services followed a year later. This was followed by warehouse activities for the Allgäu dairy industry. In the 1950s and 1960s, the freight forwarding company founded further subsidiaries, including in Austria .

The first European scheduled services followed in 1962. In 1982 a new forwarding facility was built in Ursulasried , a district of Kempten. In 1995 Lebert had 500 employees in five branches and 200 trucks. Lebert has been a CargoLine member since 1999 and was subsequently partner of the year in this cooperation in 2003 and 2009.

As part of the Sea Transport Alliance, Lebert has been cooperating with the Hamburg forwarding company NAVIS Schiffahrts- und Speditions-Aktiengesellschaft since 2007 in the field of sea and air freight.

At the beginning of 2019 Lebert was taken over by CE Noerpel GmbH .
