Franz Marx (wrestler)
Franz Marx (born January 20, 1963 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian wrestler .
Together with Anton Marchl , he was one of the Austrian wrestlers who last qualified for the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona .
successes
He won the Austrian championship title several times and took part in the Summer Olympics twice . The greatest successes include the Junior World Championship gold medal in Colorado Springs and the bronze medal at the World Wrestling Championship in Oslo in 1981 .
In 2002 he was honored as one of the athletes who were able to occupy one of the first three places or who became national champions at World or European Championships, in the World or European Cup, as part of the athlete's honor of the city of Innsbruck. He is a member of AC Hötting .
