Franz Mejzr (born July 18, 1868 in Vienna ; † March 12, 1929 there ) was an Austrian choir founder.

He was the director of an animal feed factory and in 1895 founded the workers' choir " Stahlklang " (workers music movement), which emerged from the singing section of the educational association. This should play a major role in the cultural life of the Simmering district .

Mejzr was buried in an honorary grave (Dept. ALI, No. 9) in the Simmering fire hall in Vienna.
