Franz Mittelbach
Franz Mittelbach (born April 10, 1882 in Burg near Magdeburg, † December 3, 1967 in Stuttgart ) was a German publisher.
Career
Mittelbach was born the son of newspaper publisher Robert Mittelbach. He initially worked for publishers in Leipzig and Vienna. In 1938 he became a partner in EH Moritz Verlag in Stuttgart. After the end of the Second World War he was a partner in Franckh'schen Verlagshandlung , W. Spemann Verlag and Franz Mittelbach Verlag.
He was President of the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce and Industry and, in this role, was a member of the provisional parliament for Württemberg-Baden in 1946 as a representative of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry . After his resignation he was appointed honorary president.
