Franz Puetz

Franz Pütz (born October 5, 1894 in Jerxheim , † July 26, 1945 in Thorn ) was a German doctor, SA leader and medical journalist.

Life

Franz Pütz was the son of a doctor who lived in Jerxheim. He studied medicine at the Georg-August University in Göttingen and the University of Rostock . In 1924 he received his doctorate in Rostock.

From 1923 to 1935 Pütz worked as a resident doctor in Jerxheim. In 1935 he became a full-time employee of Curt Adam , the then editor-in-chief of the journal for medical training and in 1941 his successor. At the same time, he became the last General Secretary of the Reich Committee for Medical Training and Director of the Kaiserin Friedrich House in Berlin for medical training in Prussia.

In the years 1943 and 1944, Pütz was recorded as head of the health department with the rank of SA chief at the Estonia General Commission in Reval .

Franz Pütz died in Thorn in 1945 .
