Franz Pesch is a former German racing car driver .

Career in motorsport

Franz Pesch was active in sports car racing between 1968 and 1975 . In 40 race starts he celebrated one overall and five class wins. He competed in the German racing championship and the Interserie and was a member of Georg Loos' racing team in the early 1970s . For the Gelo Racing Team he drove in the sports car world championship in 1970 , 1971 and 1972 .

Pesch entered the Le Mans 24-hour race three times . All three missions ended prematurely after engine damage.
