Franz Prettenthaler

Franz Prettenthaler (* 1972 ) is a social scientist and director of the Center for Climate, Energy and Society LIFE at Joanneum Research in Graz.

Career

Prettenthaler studied environmental systems science at the University of Graz, specializing in economics, and holds degrees in philosophy from the University of St Andrews and finance from the University of Cergy-Pontoise . His dissertation was on the dynamic consistency of individual and collective decisions under risk .
