Franz Resl

Franz Resl (born May 3, 1883 in Linz ; † January 6, 1954 there ) was a comedian , entertainer and writer . From 1902 to 1923 he was a civil servant at the Austrian Federal Railroad . Resl was a member of the NSDAP from 1932 .

Resl also wrote humorous texts which became very popular.

His grave is located in the St. Barbara cemetery in Linz .
