Franz Riehemann

Franz Riehemann (born July 26, 1921 in Burgsteinfurt ; † August 8, 1997 ) was a German hotelier and politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary and middle school , he completed a hotel apprenticeship, which he completed in 1938 with the assistant test. He worked as a hotelier from 1956. Riehemann was badly damaged by the war and a captain of the reserve .

From 1971 he was district chairman of the Steinfurt Restaurant and Hotel Association. He was the chairman of the examination boards for kitchen and service masters at the Münster Chamber of Commerce and Industry .

politics

Riehemann had been a CDU member since 1945. He was also elected chairman of the district association of medium-sized companies of the CDU in the Steinfurt district, and later he became honorary chairman.

MP

He was a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament from July 24, 1966 to May 30, 1990. In the 6th , 7th and 8th electoral periods he was the directly elected member of constituency 84 Steinfurt II . 1st and 10th electoral term of the directly elected MP in constituency 95 Steinfurt I - Coesfeld II.
