Franz Sales Sklenitzka (born December 20, 1947 in Lilienfeld , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian writer and graphic artist .

Life

Franz Sklenitzka passed his Matura at the teacher training college in St. Pölten . He then taught for a few years at an elementary school in Wilhelmsburg , where he also lives.

He has written numerous books for children and young people, which have so far been translated into 15 languages, as well as radio plays and school books. Sklenitzka is one of the best known and most popular children's book authors in his country.
