Franz Specht (politician)

Franz Specht (born October 16, 1891 in Bielefeld ; † September 20, 1964 there ) was a German local politician and district administrator ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and completing an apprenticeship as a baker , he passed the master's examination in this profession . Until 1933 he worked as a union secretary for the Association of Food and Beverage Workers, a forerunner of the NGG union . After that he was an independent master baker.

He was a member of the district assembly of the former Bielefeld district from October 13, 1946 to April 13, 1961. In addition, from 1946 Specht was a member of the council of the municipality of Hoberge-Uerentrup .

From 1953 to 1961 he was a member of the landscape assembly of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe .

Public offices

From August 28, 1947 to April 13, 1961, Specht was district administrator for the district of Bielefeld.

He was active in various committees of the district assembly of North Rhine-Westphalia .
