Franz Tratter
Franz Tratter (born June 4, 1923 in Steinerberg , † June 1, 1997 in Klagenfurt ) was an Austrian politician and member of the Austrian Federal Council .
After attending compulsory school and secondary school , he attended the commercial vocational school in Klagenfurt. After graduating from school, he became a commercial clerk, builder and cabinet maker and state party secretary of the SPÖ in Carinthia .
During his time as a member of the Federal Council from November 29, 1971 to June 30, 1983, Tratter was twice chairman, July 1, 1978 - December 31, 1978 and January 1, 1983 - June 30, 1983.
He was also a member of the municipal council of the city of Völkermarkt 1958–1964, curator of the Carinthian state mortgage institution 1965–1971 and president of the ARBÖ Völkermarkt.
