Franz Ullwer

Franz Ullwer (* 1933 or 1934 ) is a former German orienteer .

Ullwer was a member of the Helsa ski club from Northern Hesse . With this club, Ullwer also took part in ski jumping competitions and in 1966 the Helsa ski club was one of three clubs that took part in the first West German relay orienteering race. In 1966 and 1968 Ullwer won the German orienteering championship, which took place for the first time in 1963. At the second orienteering world championships in Linköping in 1968 , he ran in the German relay team with Horst Steigenberger , Rolf Sickerling and Frank Finkenstädt , which, however, did not count. At the world championship two years later in Friedrichroda , Ullwer was 46th in the individual and 12th with the relay.
