Franz Wallner (politician)

Franz Wallner (born March 10, 1883 in Großpetersdorf ; † April 8, 1956 there ) was an Austrian farmer and politician ( CS ). Wallner was married and from 1930 to 1938 a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

Wallner was born as the son of the farmer Franz Wallner from Großpetersdorf. He attended elementary school and then worked as a farmer in Großpetersdorf. Wallner was involved in the Christian Social Party and between 1935 and 1938 held the office of mayor of Großpetersdorf. On July 15, 1930, Wallner was sworn in as the successor to Nikolaus Freyberger as a member of the Burgenland state parliament, in which he represented the Christian Social Party until October 31, 1934. Wallner was also a member of the state parliament, in which he represented the state of "agriculture and forestry" between November 11, 1934 and March 12, 1938.
