Franziska Dannheim

Franziska Dannheim (born June 12, 1970 in Tübingen ) is a German singer ( soprano ) and author.

Life

Franziska Dannheim grew up in Bad Cannstatt and has lived in Essen since 1993 . She is married to the actor Felix Vörtler and has three sons.

Artistic success

The soprano Franziska Dannheim completed her vocal training with Yukako Kinoya (Stuttgart) and Anita Salta (Essen). In addition to guest appearances in Berlin, Vienna and Japan, she sang the title role in the German premiere of Tango Operita María de Buenos Aires in 1997 at the Neue Ruhrphilharmonie in Bottrop . In 1998 she joined the tango formation Primavera del Tango as a singer, of which she was a member until 2010.

In 2000 Franziska Dannheim founded the tango comedy duo "Coco-lorez" (accordion and vocals) together with Carmela De Feo. In 2002 she performed with her recital Mariengrüße. In 2007 she developed the series “Oper légère - a voice · a piano · an opera” with the pianist Jeong-Min Kim. There are currently four productions of this amusing and contemplative opera evening: “ Don Giovanni ”, “ Hoffmanns Erzählungen ”, “ Der Freischütz ” and “ Carmen ”. In 2011 she presented with Jeong-Min Kim Robert Schumann's cycle “ Dichterliebe ”.
