Franziska Huber

Franziska Huber (born January 18, 1972 ) is an Austrian master baker and confectioner and politician ( ÖVP ). Huber was a member of the Burgenland Landtag from 2008 to 2010 .

Franziska Huber attended elementary and secondary school and then completed an apprenticeship as a master baker and confectioner. She runs a bakery with 35 employees in Ebenfurth . After Oswald Klikovits moved to the National Council on October 30, 2008, Franziska Huber succeeded him in the state parliament and took over the role of ÖVP area spokesperson for women and consumer protection. In addition, she has also been a councilor in Neufeld an der Leitha since 2007, and in 2008 she was elected city party leader. Since Huber performed significantly worse than her internal ÖVP competitor Christoph Wolf (2091 preferential votes) in the state elections in Burgenland in 2010 with 1,410 preferential votes , Huber had to vacate Wolf after only two years as a member of the state parliament. She left the state parliament on June 24, 2010. She has been a councilor in Ebenfurth since February 2020.
