Franziska Krämer

Franziska Krämer (born July 9, 1899 in Vienna ; † December 9, 1988 there ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).

Life

Franziska Krämer was a worker who, after attending compulsory school, attended a technical college for textile workers and thus learned the trade of a tailor . In 1918 she joined the Social Democratic Labor Party.

In 1945, Krämer entered the Vienna State Parliament and City Council as a member of the SPÖ , to which she was to belong until 1954. In December 1954, she was sworn in as a member of the Federal Council . She worked there for 20 years until December 1964.

In her party, Franziska Krämer was deputy party leader in the Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus district . She also sat on the board of the SPÖ women's organization for all of Austria.

Krämer was buried at the Baumgartner Friedhof (group 3, number 145).
