Franziska Steinhauer

Franziska Steinhauer (* 1962 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German writer .

Life

Steinhauer studied education with a focus on psychology and philosophy . The author has lived in Cottbus since 1993 and has been working as a freelance writer since 2004. Before that, she worked for 14 years at various schools and in adult education. Her studies enable her to give the reader deep insights into the pathological thinking and acting of her fictional characters. In order to put her knowledge on a broad basis, she studied forensic sciences & engineering at the BTU Cottbus and graduated with a master’s degree. Franziska Steinhauer belongs to the group of authors of German-language crime literature “ Das Syndikat ” and is a member of the network of German-language crime writers “Murderous Sisters”.
