Fred Pearce

Fred Pearce (born December 30, 1951 in Great Britain ) is a British author and journalist .

Life

Pearce has studied the environment , development, and popular science since the 1980s . The topics covered more than 60 countries around the globe and z. B. the effects of human activities on water distribution and climate change .

Pearce is currently the environmental advisor to New Scientist magazine and is a regular contributor to UK and US newspapers and magazines such as The Daily Telegraph , The Guardian , The Independent as well as Audubon , Foreign Policy , Popular Science etc. His books have been published in multiple languages ​​such as French, German and Japanese translated. He wrote a number of reports for WWF , the Red Cross , UNESCO , the World Bank, and international and government environmental organizations.
