Fred Ranker
Fred Ranker (born April 8, 1930 in Neunkirchen (Saar) , † July 19, 2009 ) was a German SPD politician .
Ranker was a pharmacist and businessman by profession. From April 11, 1985 until the end of the 1987 electoral term, he was a member of the German Bundestag . Ranker replaced the resigned MP Hajo Hoffmann , who had changed as Minister of Economics to the new state government under Oskar Lafontaine .
