Fred Spannuth
Fritz "Fred" Spannuth (born March 5, 1921 in Munich ) is a German jazz musician ( tenor saxophone , clarinet ).
Live and act
Spannuth played in Freddie Brocksieper's band in the 1940s . In the 1950s and 1960s he was one of the most prominent members of Max Greger's orchestra . There he made a good name for himself as an expressive soloist after Wölfer. He recorded records under his own name, but also with Brocksieper, Greger and in 1980 with the Munich Jazz Ensemble .
