Freddie Welsh (* 5. March 1886 in Pontypridd , Cardiff ; † 29. July 1927 in New York City , New York , United States ) was a British boxer in the lightweight . He was managed by Jack Clancy and Harry Pollock and was universal world champion from 1914 to 1917.
