Frederik Knorren
Frederik Knorren (born May 21, 1987 ) is a German show jumper who lives in the Netherlands .
At the age of nine, Knorren rode his first tests in pony jumping. Since he was eleven he started with large horses up to M level. In 2005 he was awarded the Golden Riding Badge when he was just 18 years old. In 2007 he was appointed to the C-squad. In addition to international victories in Grand Prix and Nations Cups, he has so far achieved over 50 S victories. He has been Rhenish runner-up three times, and in 2008 he was Rhenish Young Rider Champion. He has so far participated in nine German Juniors and Young Equestrian Championships. In 2009 he won the Nations' Cup in Pontedera, Italy, on Aspen with the German team ( Marco Illbruck , Alexander Hufenstuhl and Remo Allgäuer) . At the same tournament he also won the Grand Prix on Golden Coin .
Together with his father Wolfgang Knorren, he runs a show and training stable in Bocholtz, the Netherlands . He rides for the RV Würselen.
In 2010 Knorren was in 5th place among the German U25 riders with 52220 ranking points.
