Frederik Verburg

Frederik Anton Verburg (born March 1, 1980 in Breda , the Netherlands ) is a Dutch doctor , specialist in nuclear medicine and university lecturer . Since 2016 he has been Professor of Experimental Nuclear Medicine at the Philipps University of Marburg .

Life

After Frederik Verburg graduated from the Sint-Oelbertgymnasium in Oosterhout in 1997, he studied medicine in Leuven and Utrecht from 1997 to 2004 . His doctorate as Dr. med. took place in 2008 in Würzburg on The course of differentiated thyroid carcinoma in patients in whom the initial l-131 ablative treatment was successful . In 2010 he completed his habilitation on Therapy and risk stratification in differentiated thyroid carcinoma: paradigm changes .

Verburg completed his training as a specialist in nuclear medicine at the Würzburg University Clinic from 2007 to 2010. From 2011 to 2016 he worked at the Aachen University Clinic, where he was appointed private lecturer. Since then he has been deputy director of the Clinic for Nuclear Medicine at the University Hospital Gießen und Marburg GmbH, Marburg.
