The Freeman Glacier is a glacier on the Clarie Coast of Wilkesland, East Antarctica . It flows east of Freeman Point into the west side of Perry Bay .
Aerial photographs of the US American Operation Highjump (1946–1947) were used to map it. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the glacier in 1955 after J. D. Freeman, sailmaker on the Sloop Peacock in the United States Exploring Expedition (1838-1842) under the direction of the US polar explorer Charles Wilkes .
