The Perry Bay is a 19-km wide and icy bay at the Clarie Coast of the East Antarctic Wilke country . It lies between Freeman Point and a short peninsula that ends seaward in Cape Keltie .
The American cartographer Gardner Dean Blodgett (* 1925) mapped it in 1955 using aerial photographs of Operation Highjump (1946–1947). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the bay in 1955 after Oliver Hazard Perry Jr. (1815–1878), son of Oliver Hazard Perry and lieutenant on the Sloop Peacock in the United States Exploring Expedition (1838–1842) under the direction of polar explorer Charles Wilkes .
