Freeway (rapper)
Freeway (born July 8, 1979 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ; real name Leslie Edward Pridgen ) is an American rapper who is under contract with the record labels Roc-A-Fella Records , Def Jam and G-Unit Records . He is a member of the rap group State Property.
Career
In 2003, Freeway's debut album Philadelphia Freeway was released . This was published via Roc-A-Fella and Def Jam . The songs What We Do , on which Jay-Z and Beanie Sigel are featured with guest contributions, and Flipside were released as singles. Production of Philadelphia Freeway was from Just Blaze , Kanye West accepted, Bink !, Melvin Carter and Black Key.
Freeway is featured on the soundtrack of Eminem's film 8 Mile with the song 8 Miles and Runnin ' .
