Frente de Todos (Spanish: "Front des Jeden.") Is an electoral alliance in Argentina , which was founded for the 2019 presidential elections and has been the Argentine president with Alberto Fernández since December 10, 2019.

Political classification

Politically, the electoral alliance is mostly seen as left of center. The alliance connects several currents and groups close to Peronism and the Partido Justicialista , the most important of which are the so-called Kirchnerismo , which was previously organized in the Frente para la Victoria , and the Frente Renovador around Sergio Massa . The Frente de Todos is also supported by the CGT trade union confederation.

Presidential elections 2019

In the primaries in August 2019, the presidential coalition of Frente de Todos, led by presidential candidate Alberto Ángel Fernández and vice-presidential candidate Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, won 47% of the vote. They ran in the general elections in October 2019 against the incumbent President Mauricio Macri ( Juntos por el Cambio ) and prevailed against incumbent Macri (40.37%) with 48.10% of the vote. Alberto Fernández has been President of Argentina since December 10, 2019.

Others

Alliances of the same name with different political orientations were founded in the provinces of Chaco and Corrientes as early as the mid- 1990s .

In the logo, the Frente de Todos shows the sun (based on the sun on the Argentine flag ) instead of the second "o". This avoids a generic masculine word.
