action
Lucky Gomez awaits his execution before a firing squad. At the last moment the soldiers are killed by a stranger who was observing the events from a distance. "The major", as he calls himself, then gives Lucky the opportunity to compete with the command officer in a duel he is supervising. The major's interest lies in the half-treasure map that the Mexican bandit Lucky carries with him and shows the hiding place of the gold of his murdered father. Chased by troops, the two different men form a unit that has to defend itself against many dangers in the desert and ultimately remains successful against all opponents in the search for the treasure with skill and a wealth of ideas.
criticism
"Western with a slow plot and a lot of hardship, characterized by cynicism and human contempt."
