action
Mexico, 1889: Lucky Gomez used the booty from the previous film to set up a bandit camp where he lives with his cronies. A pregnant Mexican woman is denied a loan at the Yuma bank; in front of the bank she is the victim of a bullet from the gun of a Mexican pistol from Lucky's camp in a shootout. Her husband, Juan Diaz, takes the deadly bullet and sets off on foot through the desert to avenge his wife. At the camp, Lucky's people bring the beautiful, blonde Beth, daughter of a rancher, whom they kidnapped. In addition, some of his people are planning a mutiny; Lucky prevents this and punishes the ringleader, the lover of his best friend Chino, harshly. However, he is wounded in the general shooting. He decides to bring Beth back. On the way he finds the half-thirsty Juan and takes him to camp. Since Beth has fallen in love with Lucky and has returned, he lets a drunken priest perform the wedding. Juan has learned to shoot from the priest - actually a bounty hunter - in the camp and is waiting for Lucky and Chino, who have had another raid, gun in hand. Lucky and Chino are shot; the false priest shoots Juan and is in turn struck down by Beth.
criticism
The rare film is described by the fans as a successful homage to the spaghetti westerns; Cameraman Cox in particular succeeds in making the film look much better than would be expected on a tight budget.
Remarks
Songs heard in the film are The Ballad of Diaz , sung by Brian Gibson , and The Last Trumpet , sung by Jody Wayne .
