Frida Corona gained her first international experience at the Summer Universiade 2019 in Naples , where she won the silver medal behind Ukraine in 3: 32.63 minutes with the Mexican 4 x 400 meter relay.

In 2019 Corona became the Mexican champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
