Fridolin Gallati

Fridolin Gallati (born March 17, 1885 in Mollis ; † August 19, 1987 in Burgdorf , reformed , resident in Mollis) was a Swiss entrepreneur .

Life

Fridolin Gallati was born on March 17th, 1885 in Mollis as the son of the master weaver and merchant Heinrich Gallati. Gallati first completed an apprenticeship as a merchant in Ennenda and in western Switzerland before settling in Burgdorf in 1908. In 1911 he took over the position of the office heads in the Stanniolfabrik "O. Nicola" in Burgdorf until its closure 1914th

In 1922 Gallati re-established the factory under the name "Stanniolfabrik Burgdorf AG" , which he managed from 1923 to 1959 as director. He also founded the "Galban wallpaper factory" in Burgdorf in 1939 .

Fridolin Gallati first married Clara in 1912, the daughter of the landlord and hotelier "Zu Metzgern" Gottfried Schütz, and her second marriage in 1963 was Anny, born Paroz. He died on August 19, 1987, five months after completing his 102nd year in Burgdorf.
