The Friedenskantorei of the Leipzig Michaelis Peace Community is a national choir that has been known for decades beyond the borders of Leipzig for its ambitious choral work. Oratorios as well as choral music in church services are part of his program. 80 singers perform three large concerts with orchestra and several a cappella concerts each year. The works are mostly performed in the Michaeliskirche Leipzig.
