Friederike Leue (born June 19, 1984 in Magdeburg ) is a German canoeist .

Friederike Leue is a trainee physiotherapist . She comes from a family of canoeists. Her brother Erik Leue is also part of Germany's national team, while sister Romy Leue is a young athlete. All start for the SC Magdeburg , where they are trained by their father by Eckhard Leue . At the Canoe Racing World Championships in Duisburg in 2007 , she started over 1000 meters in a single kayak and won the silver medal behind the Hungarian Katalin Kovács . In addition, she competed in a four-person kayak over the same distance and became bronze medalists with Gesine Ruge , Marina Schuck and Judith Hörmann . At the European Championship of the year she also started on both routes and came in third in the single and second in the four-person kayak.
