Friedhelm Dohmann

Friedhelm Dohmann (born August 24, 1931 in Dortmund ; † February 20, 1970 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending school, Dohmann was employed as an unskilled worker in 1945/46. He completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk from 1946 to 1949 and continued his education at the Dortmund Social Academy in 1950/51 . From 1951 he worked as an administrative clerk at the Krupp company health insurance fund, which he took over management in 1961.

Political party

Dohmann joined the SPD and was deputy chairman of the SPD sub-district Dortmund-Lütgendortmund from 1964 to 1968 .

MP

Dohmann was a councilor for the city ​​of Dortmund from 1957 to 1964 . In the 1969 Bundestag election, he was elected to the German Bundestag through a direct mandate in the Dortmund II constituency, to which he belonged until his death.
