Friedmar Teßmer

Friedmar Teßmer (born November 18, 1940 , † November 21, 2010 in Osterholz-Scharmbeck ) was a German officer , most recently a brigadier general in the Bundeswehr . From 1990 to December 31, 1994, he was in command of the 32nd Panzer Grenadier Brigade and, finally, until his retirement on March 31, 2001, he was Deputy Commander of the 7th Panzer Division in Düsseldorf. He had other notable uses at the command academy of the Bundeswehr and in the tactical center of the army .

After his retirement, Teßmer published the book "This Direction as I Show ... - About the Use of Armed Forces" in 2002.

He was an honorary knight in the Order of St. John , a member of the Rotary Club and active in his church district.

In addition to his wife Elke, née Zorn, he left two children together.
