Friedrich-Wilhelm Graefe zu Baringdorf
Friedrich-Wilhelm Graefe zu Baringdorf (born November 29, 1942 in Spenge ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). From 1984 to 1987 and 1989 to 2009 he was a member of the European Parliament for the Greens .
After training as an agricultural master , he studied education and received his doctorate in 1982.
He runs a 50 hectare farm in Bardüttingdorf , which belongs to the East Westphalian town of Spenge , in a management community and ecological economy . There he farms pigs as well as growing grain, fruit and vegetables.
Graefe was Federal Chairman of the Working Group on Farming Agriculture (AbL) from 1996 to 2012 .
