Bardüttingdorf is a south-western district of Spenge in the East Westphalian district of Herford . The name Bardüttingdorf originated in the 19th century from the merger of the Baringdorf and Düttingdorf settlements . Baringdorf was first mentioned in writing in 1151 as Bernincthorpe and Düttingdorf in 1252 as Duttincthorpe .

Until 1968 Bardüttingdorf was an independent municipality in the Spenge office. On January 1, 1969, the place was incorporated into Spenge.

Bardüttingdorf is the second smallest district of Spenge and had around 1,189 inhabitants in 2012. TuS Bardüttingdorf Wallenbrück (TuSBaWA) is based in the districts of Bardüttingdorf and Wallenbrück.
