Friedrich Adolph von Glauburg (also Adolf ) (born January 20, 1722 in Frankfurt am Main ; † July 2, 1789 ) was patrician and senior mayor of the imperial city of Frankfurt.

Friedrich Adolph von Glauburg was the son of Adolph Ernst von Glauburg and his wife Anna Margarethe von Glauburg. As a member of the Glauburg family he belonged to the noble Ganerbschaft Alten Limpurg , of which he was the second head.

He studied law from April 20, 1744 at the University of Erlangen . In 1767 he was an intern at the Reich Chamber of Commerce .

In 1758 he became councilor in Frankfurt am Main and in 1761 was promoted to aldermen. In 1774, 1779, 1782, 1786 and 1788 he was Senior Mayor of Frankfurt. In addition, he was vice-president of the consistory and envoy to the Upper Rhine District .

He was also the first administrator of the Schad Foundation .
