Friedrich Andreas Stromeyer
Friedrich Andreas Stromeyer (* 1788 in Celle ; † 1846 in Göttingen ) was a German administrative lawyer and politician.
Life
Friedrich Andreas Stromeyer was the son of the Higher Appeal Judge Stromeyer in Celle. From 1806 he studied law at the University of Göttingen and at the end of his studies on January 18, 1809 he was found to be a co-founder of the Corps Hannovera Göttingen . Stromeyer rose to the position of director of the Göttingen judicial office in the Hanover judicial service. As such, he also worked as a representative of the government of the Kingdom of Hanover at the University of Göttingen. Stromeyer was a member of the Hanover State Council from 1841 .
He was married to Caroline Lappenberg , the sister of the historian Johann Martin Lappenberg . His son-in-law was Otto von Düring , who later became the Hanoverian Minister of Justice .
