Friedrich Bayer (music critic)
Friedrich Bayer (born March 22, 1902 in Vienna ; † October 26, 1954 there ) was an Austrian music critic and music theorist .
He studied musicology with Robert Lach and Guido Adler and was professor at the Vienna Music Academy from 1938 to 1945 .
Friedrich Bayer is buried in the Döblinger Friedhof (37-5-12) in Vienna.
