Friedrich Blümke
Friedrich Blümke (born February 18, 1898 in Rahnwerder, Pomerania , † September 4, 1944 in Odessa ) was a German officer , most recently major general in World War II .
Life
Blümke served as an officer in the First World War . After the war he was accepted into the Reichswehr and served in various units. In 1933, Blümke was transferred to the Reichswehr Ministry. In the Wehrmacht he led the 257th Infantry Division as commander in World War II and was previously employed in various general staffs.
