Friedrich Born (politician)

Friedrich Born (born January 9, 1828 in Usingen ; † August 26, 1881 in Usingen) was a Nassau politician ( Nassau Progressive Party ) and a former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Duchy of Nassau .

Life

Friedrich Born was the son of the red tanner Philipp Born (* December 12, 1780 in Usingen; † December 28, 1853 in Usingen) and his wife Catharina Henriette née Dienstbach (* September 24, 1788 in Usingen; † died October 28, 1832 in Usingen ), whom he married on June 30, 1805 in Usingen.

Friedrich Born was Protestant. Professionally, he continued the family tradition of his father (and grandfather Conrad Wilhelm Born, who had also been a red tanner) and worked as a tanner.

Friedrich Born was married to Johanette Charlotte, née Allendörfer (born February 11, 1832 in Usingen as the daughter of the businessman Friedrich Heinrich Allendörfer; † May 8, 1876 in Usingen).

politics

Friedrich Born was a staunch liberal member of the Nassau Progress Party. For this he was elected in 1864 in constituency XVII (Usingen / Reichelsheim) in the second chamber of the estates of the Duchy of Nassau. When Nassau was annexed to Prussia in 1866, his mandate ended.
