Friedrich Erbel

Friedrich Erbel (born November 1, 1899 in Rheydt ; † December 19, 1995 in Bremen- Grohn ) was a Bremen vocational school teacher and politician ( NSDAP , CDU ). He was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

Education, work and family

Erbel studied chemistry and was doing his second degree as a trade teacher. He was a teacher from 1927 and in the Bremen school service from 1929. In 1940/41 he was a special leader in the Armed Forces and Armaments Office of the High Command of the Wehrmacht (OKW) and from 1941 to 1943 he was a technical war administrator . From August 1944 to 1946 he served as a soldier in World War II or was a prisoner of war. In 1947 he worked as a chemist and from 1948 again as a vocational school teacher in Bremen. In 1959 he was appointed director of the vocational school for the food industry in Vegesack . Until 1965 he was in school service.

He was married to Elisabeth Erbel (1902–1987).

politics

Erbel became a member of the NSDAP in April 1933 and was from 1934 a member of the National Socialist People's Welfare (NSV) and the NS teachers' association and in 1933/34 in the SA . In 1948 he was denazified as a fellow traveler .

After the war he became a member of the CDU and was chairman of the CDU district association Bremen-Vegesack from 1959 to 1971. Erbel was a member of the Bremen citizenship for around 12 years from 1959 to 1971 and was active in various deputations of the citizenship. From 1963 to 1971 he acted as secretary of the citizenship.
